1. Registration Policy:
All registration must be completed online at http://www.hopechineseschool.org/hcshn/Logon.aspx. Due to the pandemic and shrinking pool of volunteers, our onsite registration service will be very limited. We are asking parents to update registration as soon as possible to secure your seats, as we limit the size of many of our classes to achieve a better online learning experience.
2. Tuition Payment :
Tuition is due upon registration. To minimize unnecessary close personal contact, we are adding PayPal as a new payment method. Families can choose to mail a check to the School or pay by PayPal. Again, for the same reason, the School will absorb the Paypal transaction costs to make it convenient to our parents.
The School requires every student to fully pay their tuitions after they register. If a class is full but not all students pay the tuition, the School will drop those unpaid students immediately in order to make rooms for others and to be fair to everyone. On the 1st day of our school, any registered but unpaid students will be dropped from our registration system to ensure the integrity and fairness of the HCSHN.
3. Refund Policy:
September 10, 2023 is the 1st day of the School. If students do not wish to continue after their 1st day of classes, they should immediately drop their classes from our registration system online and complete the process by the end of September 13,2023. The School will refund 100% of the paid tuition and credit them back to the family accounts, however, the registration fees are not refundable. After September. 13, 2023 tuition will not be refundable. The deadline date is set to give registration team members enough time to process these requests and allow our teachers to be notified and drop these students from their classes. However, families can change their paid classes to any other classes of equal $ value that we offer at out campus, without any additional charge during the entire semester; in case they find that their originally registered classes may not fit their needs later. This is to provide the most flexibility and convenience to our campus community members and lessen the workload of our volunteers.
