Hope Chinese School Reopens

Feb. 6, 2020

Dear teachers, parents, volunteers and students:

Based on CDC reports and prevention guidelines on the novel coronavirus outbreak, Hope Chinese School will resume classes this weekend on 2/8 and 2/9.

We fully respect the decision of any of our students and/or parents not to attend our weekend schools.

HCS will keep closely monitoring the situation and make adjustments as necessary.

We ask anyone who recently visited any part of China, in particular Hubei province, or has come in close contact with visitors from China to strictly implement a 14 day self-quarantine following Federal guidelines. Those individuals who are required to stay at home, should monitor themselves for certain symptoms such as coughing or fever, check their temperatures and report problems to local health officials.

In addition, please do not go to school if you have any cold or flu symptoms even if you have not visited China or been in contact with anybody from China.

Please protect yourself and respect others.

If you have any questions, please contact your campus principal or class teacher.

Let us all remain vigilant and work together to keep the community safe and thriving.

Thank you for your support and understanding!
